The Acorn Sheep Cradle is an invaluable device for holding a sheep on its back, in order to carry out foot trimming / treatment and general inspection duties; whilst allowing the shepherd to have both hands free with total freedom of movement.
The animal is backed up to the cradle. The action of pushing its hind legs against the rollover bar and lifting the forend results in a quick turnover and a restrained but comfortable sheep.
All steel construction, galvanised after manufacture, leading to a strong and long lasting product.

The Acorn "Sheep Head-Steady" Yoke is useful for restraining sheep, whilst carrying out task such as:

                               > Trimming
                               > Dagging
                               > Tagging
                               > Injecting

It is clamped to a gate or hurdle by means of our special patent pivoting cam action clamp and readily adjustible "V" location.
The head of the sheep or lamb is placed on the support cradle and the rope restraint is passed round the back of the neck and fixed into the gripper. To release, one pull of the rope in a forward direction is all that is required.

This is a professionally engineered device, manufactured from steel section and bar, powder coated for a smooth long lasting finish. The stainless steel main spine, bolts and screws provide a lifelong corrosion free unit. All clamp screws are hand wheels - no tools are required.
The shape, clamping and general design of our yoke has been developed over a long period of time to give a very animal and user friendy device - we're very proud of it!

The Acorn Hay Rack and Manger is suitabe for small-scale farming, for feeding Sheep, Goats and Alpacas. It is 1.8m (6ft) long and is easy to move by 1 person.
It's capacity is approx 1 1/2 bales of hay and enables manger feeding below the rack. Specially designed to be suitable for both flat and sloping ground, with 2 wheels and 2 legs. The legs act as anchors on uneven ground, with the wheels giving easy movement.

An all-galvanised steel construction with wide solid-tyred wheels makes this a maintenance free and long lasting item.

Show Tack Box

The Show Tack Box is invaluable for the Show Shepherd/Stockman to safely transport and store all the necessary equipment required for the succesful showing of livestock.

The box has a removeable tray for small items, and a document pocket for show catalogues, numbers and the associated paperwork. The wooden top has a stay to hold it in the open position and when closed the box acts as a welcome seat. Carrying handles are provided together with lid locking fastener and two keys.

You just provide the contents and the livestock, the Judge will do the rest!
